Accurist Watches

Accurist has been a family owned company since its founding in 1946. It was then that Asher and Rebecca Loftus started their watch and wristwatch company in Clerkenwell, London. The company has grown since then, now having offices in West Hampstead, London and La Chauex-de-Fonds, Switzerland. It currently has an estimated value of £20 million.

There are wristwatch styles for men and women ranging in price from £50 to £200. These come in a variety of styles from all metal to leather bands. For anyone wanting a high quality wristwatch there is sure to be a design right for him or her.

Several notable people have worn the Accurist watch. Some of these include Princess Anne, Twiggy and The Beatles. John Cleese was the representative in a well-remembered advertising campaign on British Television. The pilots of the Concorde Company have been wearing Accurist watches since the 1970s.

In 1993, Accurist provided a new atomic clock to the Greenwich Observatory. This further displayed the company’s ability to keep up with modern technology while maintaining its high standard of excellence.
